TechHire Initiative

On March 10, 2015, President Obama announced the TechHire initiative. Described by the White House as a multi-sector effort, the campaign served as a call to action to expand local tech sectors by building talent pipelines in communities across the country. LinkedIn provided free data about the supply and demand of IT skills to assist communities in focusing their efforts on in-demand jobs.
