Ontario: Understanding Trade Through International Connections

LinkedIn has partnered with the Ministry of International Trade (MIT) on a new research collaboration, ‘Understanding Trade Through International Connections.’ For the first time, the LinkedIn Economic Graph has been adapted with a trade focus to determine how globally connected Ontario’s workforce is and what markets and sectors demonstrate the highest potential for export growth through these connections. This report supports MIT’s Global Trade Strategy to help the province deepen its footprint in international markets, creating new avenues for economic opportunity.
